Jill Neal is one of the owners of Singletree and has trained horses and been an instructor since the barn opened in 1978. As a youth, Jill trained and showed American Saddlebred horses . She herself was high point equitation champion in the Missouri Horse Show Association for three years running . Since that time she also competed in open classes throughout the country. In addition she has instructed and trained many champion riders and horses with an emphasis on Saddleseat equitation. She is also a qualified instructor for western riders and huntseat riders. Jill manages the boarding facility and oversees and conducts the lesson program at Singletree.
Joan Neal is one of the owners of Singletree and has been involved with the overall management of the barn for over 35 years. She was a horseshow mom for many years and has always assisted Jill with her show students and helped with the lesson program and summer camps at Singletree.
Sara has been a student here at Singletree since she was a little girl. She owns and shows her quarter horse Nick in western and hunt seat. She is currently enrolled at WSU. She helps here at Singletree with both the group lessons and with the Summer Camp.
Jose has been a long time associate with Singletree as both a trainer and a farrier. He specialized in starting the young horse and in training horses for reining and roping. He is patient and persistent in his training techniques. As a farrier, he takes care of most of the horses boarded and trained at Singletree. He accepts outside clients as well.
